2020 has turned into a year of the unknown… the world has been affected by a global pandemic COVID-19 or as it is more commonly know the Corona Virus.

Being based on the Irish border we have been closely following announcements from both Irish and UK governments. We continue to monitor the situation and have put plans in place to ensure all our staff are able to continue working in a safe environment. We have invested a lot in technology which will stand by us during this crisis and in the future, as we continue to future proof our business.

Here at Morgan Fuels we continue to operate business as usual, being an essential service, we will continue to supply fuel to our ever-growing customer base. Both at home and across the UK & Europe, with our own CEO Hugh Morgan going back to where it all began for him delivering heating oil to our customers. 

While we are maintaining business as usual, we have taken measures to ensure the health and safety of our staff and our customers which is our first and main priority.

Customers remain at the forefront of everything we do, we will continue to support our customers to ensure we meet their fuel requirements. We are in regular contact with all suppliers and will continue to monitor the situation and will keep you informed.

One thing that COVID-19 has taught us, is the ability to maintain our high level of customer service while working remotely. Technology really has evolved since we opened our doors in 1981. We can keep in touch via video conferencing and remote access which ensures business as usual.

We are following government guidelines and following directions from World Health Organisation (WHO). Steps such as social distancing, remote working and washing hands for longer than 20 seconds are just some of the easy steps that we must all do in order to reduce the risk of spreading this virus to most vulnerable.
