The competition from Morgan Fuels asked offered the winner membership to the Orchard Club, valued at £1,500 and the ‘fan’ would also appear on billboards and bus ads with Francis Bellew and Paul McGrane to promote the Armagh GAA fuel card from Morgan Fuels. he new fuel card is designed for domestic users of diesel and home heating oil and can be used in over 450 sites across Ireland.Morgan Fuels will donate 1p/1c per litre | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| used directly to the County Board to support underage GAA development. Managing Director Hugh Morgan said: “The card works almost like a credit card for diesel and is designed for small/non commercial users. It gives Armagh fans the chance to support the development of Gaelic football and hurling in the county by just filling their car the way they would normally. With our 1p/1c per litre contribution, there is a potential £1/2 m extra this year for our young teams.”
The ads will appear in Newry, Armagh and Lurgan until the end of the month. To apply for a fuel card call 0800 328 7899 or apply online, www.morganfuels.com |

used on billboards in Newry, Armagh City and Lurgan from the 14th August. The advertising campaign will promote a new fuel card which will contribute 1p/1c per litre used directly to Armagh GAA. Managing Director Hugh Morgan says: “The card works almost like a credit card for diesel and is designed for small/non commercial users. It gives Armagh fans the chance to support the development of Gaelic football and hurling in the county by just filling their car the way they would normally. With our 1p/1c per litre contribution, there is a potential £1/2 m extra this year for our young teams.” The photoshoot took place last week and mortgage advisor Anthony was unfazed by the ‘lights, camera, action’ but admitted to being a little apprehensive about the billboards going up in Newry. “I imagine there’ll be a good deal of slagging but I think it’ll be a great laugh. Anyone I’ve told thinks I’m exaggerating, so they’ll get a shock on the 14th when the billboards go up! ” he laughs. Dad Eugene is a huge Armagh supporter and is thrilled that his son will be pictured alongside legends like McGrane and Bellew. The fuel card can be used to refuel your car in over 450 sites across Ireland and the card can also be used for home heating oil. Endorsing the fuel card scheme Joe Kernan said: “We value the commitment Morgan Fuels has made to date and the introduction of the new Armagh Fuel Card could, with the support of our members, generate significant funds to support the long term success of our county teams.”To get an application form for the Armagh Fuel Card see www.morganfuels.com and you could win membership of the Friends of Armagh with its monthly £1,000 draw.News Archive New Sites Open in Austria and Slovenia 2 New sites open in Europe New Fuel site opens in Belgium!
